Organized by the Workers United Front of Canada, the Workers’ School aims to elevate the political level of the masses by acting as a platform for ideological struggle.
They have partnered with The Alberta Worker to make their materials available to a wider audience.
Here are the materials they have released so far.
On Housing & the Tenants’ Movement
This is a presentation on housing conditions and tenant organizing in Canada and was developed by the Workers’ United Front and their Workers’ School. Included are slides and a script for this presentation. While the slides and script can be read as you would a political document, the WUF and WS encourage you to share this presentation with fellow tenants you may know, or to put on this presentation yourself if you are involved in a tenants’ union or another political organization.
Dialectical Materialism Lesson Plan
This is a lesson plan which is designed to teach dialectical materialism at an introductory level. It has been developed by the Workers’ School. Its intended use is as a plan or support for teaching the dialectical outlook in a study group or similar setting, but it can also be read as a theoretical document.
The Alberta Worker is a proud member of the Canadian Association of Labour Media. Kim Siever is a member of The Canadian Association of Journalists.
