15,000 Albertans lost their job last month
Alberta lost 10,000 full-time jobs overall in November, nearly wiping out the 14,000 full-time jobs they gained the previous month.
Since at least 2012, the number of acute care beds per person in Alberta has been decreasing, despite hundreds of more beds. The opposite is the case for continuing care beds and addictions/mental health care beds.
Since June 2019, the month before the UCP implemented the Job Creation Tax Cut, Alberta has increased its payroll employees by less than 2%, the second worst performance of any province. Yet its population grew by 4.57%.
