Garden of Joy

This poem is part of my June 2022 Pride poetry series.

  1. Garden of joy within my heart.
  2. Bliss and rejoicing from the start.
  3. Arms are embracing shaking knees.
  4. Pulse is now racing though at ease.
  5. Welcoming words to stranger shy.
  6. Comforting heard the nervous sighs.
  7. Through uncertainty and fear
  8. Comes the rainbow, bright and clear.
