Lemonade

  1. There is not much that I like more than tall, cool lemonade—
  2. Freshly squeezed and newly poured and left to marinate.
  3. There’s one thing though I can’t ignore, a great impression made
  4. On my heart and to my core, so much that resonates:
  5. Long, dark locks I’ve long adored, a face that emanates
  6. Light, and hope, and love galore, can’t help but venerate .
  7. A pretty smile; a cute, soft snore; a hate for beds unmade.
  8. Opposite of carnivore, quick to render aid.
  9. Fiercely loyal evermore, good will disseminates.
  10. Half my life, and even more, shared with this woman aged.
