Heavenly Mother Poetry

Queen of the bees

  1. How many lectures told me to forget her?
  2. Reject her with violence and kept her so silent,
  3. Forced into compliance and left her in quiet,
  4. Robbed we of her nectar, and tried to correct her,
  5. Taught me to detest her and lied to protect her,
  6. But power and glory—she’s my protector.
  7. Allow her own story to be the connector
  8. Her absence they festered—I longed to address her.
  9. No longer compliant, reach out to request her
  10. Strength in defiance to willingly accept her
  11. Faith and a prayer finally connect her.
  12. A mother is there, and they must respect her.
