Winter

  1. Snoring giants warm inside the dark and snowy caves.
  2. Quiet birdnests, frozen acorns, sleeping fescue blades.
  3. Muffled footsteps, darkened morns, and walks beneath the moon.
  4. Sipping cocoa, quilted snuggles, candlelighted room.
  5. Hillside sledding, canal skating, reddened cheeks and nose.
  6. Flaky tumbling, person building—many lives of snow.
