Since the start of the year, the province has lost over 35,000 full-time jobs.
They will get increases to wages, shift premiums, vacation time, flexible spending account, and sick leave accumulation.
The contract includes pay increases, vacation allotments, various leaves, and free uniforms.
This falls short of making up for 5 wage freezes over the last decade.
They also saw changes to their boot allowance, vacation time, and sick leave.

They received no other material improvements in their contract.
One group is based out of Chestermere, and the other is based out of Leduc.
